Inaugural Session and National Seminar
“Transforming India in the Digital Era: Integrating Financial Inclusion, Education and Entrepreneurship”
The Foundation for Interdisciplinary Research and Social Transformation (FIRST) marked a significant milestone with the successful organization of its Inaugural Ceremony and One-Day National Seminar on 24 March 2026 at the Constitutional Club of India, New Delhi. Conceived under the visionary leadership of Dr. Prakash Kumar Patel, Director, FIRST, the event aimed to establish an interdisciplinary platform for dialogue on contemporary policy and development challenges. The seminar brought together policymakers, parliamentarians, senior administrators, academicians, and practitioners to deliberate on issues of national importance.
The seminar featured three thematic plenary sessions covering digital financial inclusion, educational transformation, and rural entrepreneurship, providing a platform for discussions on policy innovation, inclusive development, and institutional reforms. Through expert deliberations and interdisciplinary engagement, the event fostered meaningful dialogue between academia, government, and industry, reinforcing FIRST's vision of promoting research-driven policymaking, knowledge exchange, and collaborative solutions for India's sustainable and inclusive development.
